Match Preview:

Durham are all set to battle in their 11th contest against Worcestershire today in Natwest T20 Blast 2017. The t20 night match Durham vs Worcestershire will be held at Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street on 11th August 2017 17:30 GMT.

A stormy innings by Alex Hales powered by fly kissing sixes turned the tables as Nottinghamshire Outlaws enlisted a far reaching five-wicket win upon Durham Jets in the North group, on Saturday, at Trent Bridge.

Durham Jets came to bat first and amassed 183 runs at the loss of seven wickets. Micahel Richardson indented up a fifty, while Paul Coughlin crushed 42 runs. It was a real show of battling by Durham with the run rate a little more than nine an over.

In the answer, the Notts went all weapons blasting. Openers Alex Hales and Riki Wessels sewed a stunning 126-run organization in only 42 balls. Truth be told, inside the power play overs, the twosome raised 106 runs.

Hales was good to go to measure up to Chris Gayle’s T20 record of quickest century ever, yet tumbled off the 30th ball. After his rejection in the eight over, Riki proceeded with the frenzy as the Notts enrolled yet another victory in the competition.

Worcestershire then again stumbled in chasing a huge total against Northamptonshire at New Road, Worcester on Saturday. Outlaws innings was carried by unbeaten innings of 92 by Ben Duckett t0 195-4 in 20 overs when they came to bat first.

Worcestershire were badly collapsed when they started the run chase and only the opener John Hastings 35 and Mitchell Santner 38 scored noticeably on the scorecard while none of the Worcestershire long lasting batting line up could score remarkably.

Both the side stand at the bottom of the North group and this is going to be a monumental challenge for the two sides.

Match Prediction:

Worcestershire will win. Though Rapids had an uneasy journey so far in the Natwest T20 Blast 2017 holding the 8th spot with 7 points on the table but this is going to be an easy challenge for them. They were beaten in their 6 contests out of their 10 games but now the time has come for Rapids to recharge themselves and unleash the weapons they have left in their artillery.

Meanwhile Durhams Jets too had an unbalanced campaign so far in the tournament when they stand at the bottom of the group with only 2 victories in their hands. They stand defeated in their 8 games and this is truly a bad performance of their talent and class but if they can focus today on their game they may display a classic show to their fans.
